TEHRAN, Iran (CNN) - Thousands of Iranians gathered Wednesday evening in Tehran’s Haft-e-Tir Square in a show of support for opposition leader Mir Hossein Moussavi as authorities cracked down on protests and tightened controls on media, threatening Web sites reporting on the country’s worst crisis for decades.
